[ESP-ENG] La nueva liga de verano en Venezuela // The new summer league in Venezuela
Greetings to my beautiful and nice people of this community, what a pleasure to be back with you after a short break for reasons beyond my control, today I want to share a post for the debate where I will be analyzing what will be the new major league of professional baseball, or summer league that starts next August 6th and will have the participation of 6 teams in its first edition, as it is known in our country there have been attempts to create leagues to be played during the winter league recess, but all have failed or have not had the forcefulness to establish and maintain themselves over time.

Con platillos y bombones se anunció a través de las redes sociales y medios audiovisuales la creación de dicha liga y fue oficialmente presentado el campeonato que arrancará el próximo 6 de agosto en tres plazas, El fórum la Guaira que será la sede de los equipos Lanceros de La Guaira y Senadores de Caracas, mientras que el José Pérez Colmenares de Maracay albergará a Samanes de Aragua y Líderes de Miranda, entre tanto en el José Bernardo Pérez de Valencia compartirán sede Marineros de Carabobo y Guerreros de Caracas.
The creation of the league was announced through social networks and audiovisual media and the championship was officially presented, which will start on August 6 in three venues: La Guaira Forum will host the teams Lanceros de La Guaira and Senadores de Caracas, while the José Pérez Colmenares de Maracay will host Samanes de Aragua and Líderes de Miranda, while the José Bernardo Pérez de Valencia will host Marineros de Carabobo and Guerreros de Caracas.

El torneo está estipulado a jugarse entre los meses de agosto y septiembre y en su presentación el presidente de la naciente liga informó que el campeonato tendrá cobertura total por Meridiano televisión y Tves aunque luego se sumarán otras plantas televisivas, otro directivo de la liga Luis Blasini, informó que no habrá contrataciones de jugadores importados para así darle oportunidad a jugadores venezolanos que a causa de la pandemia no han podido mostrarse ni desarrollarse en ligas menores de los equipos de grandes ligas.

El proyecto de esta liga pinta para grandes logros, a corto y largo plazo ya que dentro de la organización hay mucha gente ligada al béisbol venezolano con experiencia en la liga de invierno como jugadores, manager y directivos, ligado a esto cuentan con el aval de la federación venezolana de beisbol y mucha gente ligada a los medios televisivos y radiales, entre los peloteros reconocido destacan, Ezequiel carrera, Henderson Álvarez, Luis Jiménez, Francisco Butto, Wilfredo Ledezma, Josmil pinto, Alberto Gonzales entre otros, en cuanto a los manager todos ya confirmados está Víctor Gárate de Senadores, Líderes contará con el experimentado "Almirante" Carlos García, Luis Ugueto dará instrucciones en Samanes de Aragua, luís Hernández en Lanceros, Víctor Oramas en Marineros, y Guillermo Quiroz en Guerreros todos en los absoluto han tenido participación en la LVBP.

Ahora bien de qué y para qué me sirve este proyecto, simplemente es ambicioso pues en tiempo de pandemia son muchos los riesgos y gastos de los equipos, esto ligado a las sanciones que conocemos, se debe hacer un gran trabajo a nivel comunicacional y de marketing para impulsar esta naciente liga y que no muera en el intento como las de otrora, pues servirá para el desarrollo de peloteros jóvenes y dará un segundo aire a jugadores que aún desean regresar a las grandes ligas, pero para tener éxitos hay que abrir las plazas a los fanáticos que son el motor que impulsa al atleta, y eso lo veo con dificultad y pudiera ser un punto en contra de la liga ya que la pandemia está de por medio y se deben cumplir las normas de dictamine la comisión presidencial.
Now what is the purpose of this project, it is simply ambitious because in times of pandemic there are many risks and expenses of the teams, this linked to the sanctions that we know, a great job must be done at the communication and marketing level to promote this nascent league and not die in the attempt as those of yesteryear, It will serve for the development of young players and will give a second wind to players who still wish to return to the big leagues, but to be successful we must open the places to the fans who are the engine that drives the athlete, and I see that with difficulty and could be a point against the league since the pandemic is in the middle and must comply with the rules of the presidential commission.

Aun cuando en la liga de invierno no ha anunciado cuando iniciara la temporada, las expectativas por esta naciente liga de verano crecen y es que para empezar a construir una fanaticada las puertas de los estadio deben estar abiertas al público, para que el fanático pueda disfrutar del espectáculo, en cuanto a nivel de competencia la liga asoma un panorama a la altura del profesionalismo, se va a jugar a diario durante los meses de agosto y septiembre, para clasificar a cuatro de los que saldrán dos finalistas y un campeón ya con el transcurrir del calendario se debe ir obteniendo el nivel que desean sus creadores.
Amanecerá y veremos cómo se desarrolla, y desde ya empezamos a creer que se puede crecer en la próxima edición, con respecto a la participación de equipos, ya que Monagas, Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Táchira y otras entidades han mostrado interés en el pasado en contar con una franquicia de pelota.
Mi mayor deseo es que esta liga sirva de desarrollo y oportunidades para el crecimiento de nuestros venezolanos, y que pasemos a ser el primer país de latinoamérica en exportar y tener jugadores en MLB.

Even though the winter league has not announced when the season will start, the expectations for this nascent summer league are growing and to start building a fan base the stadium doors must be open to the public, so that the fans can enjoy the show, as for the level of competition the league has a panorama at the level of professionalism, it will be played daily during the months of August and September, to classify four teams from which two finalists and a champion will emerge, and with the passing of the calendar the level desired by its creators should be obtained.
It will dawn and we will see how it develops, and from now on we begin to believe that it can grow in the next edition, with respect to the participation of teams, since Monagas, Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Táchira and other entities have shown interest in the past in having a ball franchise.
My greatest wish is that this league serves as development and opportunities for the growth of our Venezuelans, and that we become the first country in Latin America to export and have players in MLB.
