Wolves To The Blades As Euro Race Rages On.
Sheffield United took another giant step towards European competitions qualification when centre-back John Egan(90+3') rose highest to nod in teammate Oliver Norwood's corner kick in stoppage time to earn a 1 nil victory at Bramall Lane.
With the UEFA Champions League 1st slot secured by league champion Liverpool and Manchester City ban from the competition(ban appealed), the remaining 3 slots are still up for grabs and vie for between 3rd place team Chelsea and mathematically down to the 10th place team Tottenham Hotspur.

Sheffield United's Victory has now moved them up to 7th on the log table with 51 points, 8 points behind 4th place Leicester, a touching distance of European qualification of either UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League. With 12 points from remaining 4 matches still to compete for, it's a race to the wire for United.
