The whole island of Mauritius is under this shocking news...
Considered as one of the best jockey ever from Mauritius, Nooresh Juglall 30yrs old could not resist from his fall in the 7th race earlier today.
Former South Africa Jockey Academy graduate, and a multiple SA Champion Apprentice, he was crowned Champion Jockey last year here in Mauritius! He also ride in Singapore for 5 yrs!
Today was the first race day of the season...what a catastrophic start indeed.
We also witnessed 3 other falls today but with minor gravities.
Sad day indeed for the sports world in the island.

This is absolutely horrendous, the racecourse owners should be held responsible as the concrete strip should have been covered with grass or sand. So tragic!
