Olympic Tokyo 2020 : Men's Basketball - Japan vs Spain
Japan, the land of the rising sun was beaten by Spain in the Men's Basketball Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The Japanese men were competing in Olympic basketball for the first time since 1976, having qualified automatically as the host nation and looking for a boost from overseas-based stars such as Rui Hachimura of the NBA's Washington Wizards.

Hachimura, who finished with 20 points and four three-pointers, addressed his team's lack of Olympic experience and the need to play more games.
"This is our first game in the Olympics so it's a different experience. Spain has been in the Olympics for a long time and they play at a high level," Hachimura said.
He scored 20 points on 8-of-21 shooting, including 4-of-11 from three.
For Spain, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio scored 20 points and dished 9 assists while not committing a single turnover.

Spain is quite a good team. They're the current world champions (2019 world cup), with an easy win in the final against Argentina. Definitely one of the few teams that can go for gold this year.
