Celtic started off brightly in the first 10 minutes with a high press and positive forward plays, however AC Milan broke the deadlock with a fabulous cross into the box by Castillejo who found Krunic in the box to head the ball into the back of the net. It was clinical play from Milan.

Within the first 25 minutes of the match, it was fairly even with no side particularly dominating play despite Milan leading 1 - 0.

In the 42nd minute, Milan scored a 2nd goal thanks to a neat low shot finish from Dias inside the box, assisted by Hernández.

It was a 1st half of no card bookings and AC Milan showed their superiority in the 1st half.

10 minutes into the 2nd half of the match, Milan are in control of possession a lot more.

So far Celtic's midfielders have failed to get their striker called Barkas involved into the match due to a lack of creative play to feed him chances on goal.

In the 66th minute double subs are made by Pioli. Ibrahimovic and Kessié subbed off, Leão and Bennacer subbed on.

76th minute in, Celtic scores from a corner, Elyounoussi headed the ball into the net from Christie's corner kick cross.

Celtic started to grow in confidence and put more pressure on to Milan for almost the rest of the 2nd half but Milan scored their 3rd goal in the 92nd minute to guarantee victory.
Hauge placed a low shot into the goal from Saelemaekers assist.

Ibrahimovic had a quiet game and Hernández was my man of the match, i'd rate him a 7 out of 10 in this match.
Here's the final stats of the Europa League match.
