Inconsistent Manchester United

Manchester United continue their inconsistencies on the pitch and it's now at the point where United are like a banter club.

After such a top performance against RB Leipzig in the Champions League by winning 5 - 0, I thought maybe United have turned a corner and are on to something better but their performance into the Premier League against Arsenal was no where near good enough.

In the 1st half United struggled to create good chances and once again Van De Beek was left out of the starting 11. I think Cavani should of been in the starting 11 too.

Arsenal looked tactically better than United in the 1st half and they looked more of a threat going forward.
Arsenal were high pressing and aggressive by not allowing United to be a goal scoring threat.

In the 69th minute Pogba made a foul in the penalty box and Arsenal were awarded a penalty, Aubameyang stepped up to take the penalty and scored with ease.

Since the goal conceeded United showed more urgency to score but they failed to get a single goal.

Once again this performance from United shows that they are in trouble tactically but I wouldn't blame this all on the players. The manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is responsible by a big percentage in this defeat.

Ole needs to improve on his starting 11 team selections and he needs to start Van De Beek and Cavani in the next few matches because I think those 2 players will add something different and better to United's overall play styles.

It is still surreal that we actually won a penalty in Old Tradford.
