What a big win for United, they exceeded my expectations in this match.

The match started off with RB Leipzig keeping a lot of the ball possession but they didn't create much goal threatening chances.

In the 21st minute, Greenwood scored from Pogba's slick pass into the box.
Greenwood proves again how much of a clinical finisher he is.

However RB Leipzig continued to dominate possession despite conceeding a goal.

Leipzig had United pushed back into their own half for a large part of the 1st half.
Leipzig were pressing hard by not allowing United much time on the ball.

Into the 2nd half United started getting more ball possession and created more chances.

In the 63rd minute, both Rashford and Mctominay were subbed on and both Greenwood and Matić were subbed off.

In the 68th minute, Fernandes was subbed on and Van De Beek was subbed off.

United grew into the match as the 2nd half progressed. 74 minutes in, Fernandes put in a lightning quick pass to Rashford who finished off his chance in a very slick way to make it 2 - 0 to United.
However VAR had to check if the play building up to the goal was offside before confirming the 2nd goal but it was checked by VAR and confirmed as a legit goal.

78 minutes in, Rashford scored his 2nd goal of the match to make it 3 - 0. RB Leipzig started to fall apart since Rashford and Fernandes came on.

Into the 87th minute United got awarded a penalty and Martial scored it.

Into the 90+ minute, Rashford scored his hat trick, truly a masterclass performance from Manchester United in the 2nd half.

Leipzig didn't look like scoring at all in the 2nd half and they performed below standards. I thought that it would of been a much closer match between the 2 teams.

I'm hoping and praying that United bring this brilliant Champions League form into the Premier League because they will be going into November sitting 15th in the League.

It was good tactics from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in this match just like against PSG but this was even better.
