Strong bowling effort from RCB restricted KKR to 84/8 the lowest total in IPL 2020. Mohammad Siraj brilliant bowling stopped KKR just in 84 runs. Normally Siraj is an expensive bowler in IPL but yesterday he bowled great with the new ball. In his first over he dismissed Tripathi and Rana then removed Banton on 2nd over. Finally Siraj made his career best bowling figure of 3 for 8 including 2 maiden overs.
KKR won the toss and elected to bat first. But they lost 3 wickets just in 3 runs. Then continuously lossing wickets restricted KKR with the lowest total in IPL 2020. Almost everybody howled well especially Siraj, Chahal, Sunder, Morris. Siraj picked up 3 wickets, Chahal 2 wickets, Sunder and Saini both 1 wicket. In reply RCB chased down very easily. RCB openers Padikkal and Finch made a partnership of 46 runs. Then Finch has gone and at the same over Padikkal also gone for run out. Then King Kholi came out and finished the match with Mann both remained unbeaten. Finally RCB thrashed KKR by 8 wickets. Mohammad Siraj was man of the match. RCB improved their position at number two on the points table. They just need to win one match out of 4 matches remaining. While on the other hand KKR need to win 3 matches out of 4 matches remaining to qualify for the playoffs. Now another match between RR vs SRH is ongoing. Are you watching this match?
