Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings Match Review // Match 44
CSK beat RCB by 8 wickets and kept themselves alive. They have a little chance to qualify the playoffs if others team won't get more than 12 points however it's almost impossible in my opinion. They played total 12 matches and won 4 matches and still hold their position at position 8 on the points table. While on the other hand RCB already have 14 points and they need to win just one match out of 3 matches remaining to confirm the playoffs. Now i'm going to shortly review the match.
RCB bat first but started slowly. Almost every batsman of RCB played very slowly. Especially their most responsible batsman Kholi and De Villiers have made a good partnership but were playing slowly as RCB have abled to score 145 runs by 6 wickets. CSK all rounder Sam Curran picked up 3 wickets.
In reply CSK got off to a strong start backed by openers Du Plessis and Gaikwad to chase down the 146 runs. Gaikwad played a brilliant innings of unbeaten 65 runs in 51 balls including 4 fours and 3 sixes. Rayudu and Dhoni also played well. Gaikwad was player of the match. I will update MI vs RR match report on my next post. Stay turned....
