Sri Lanka vs India // 3rd T20

The 3rd T20 match of the series was played between India vs Srilanka yesterday at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Srilanka won the match by 7 wickets and also won the series by 2-1. India performed very bad and Srilanka don't miss the opportunity and become the series winner.

India won the toss and elected to bat first. It was the worst starting for team India in 2021. India have lost total 5 wickets just for scoring 36 runs. Not a single batsman stand against Lankan bowlers. Finally India scored total 81 runs by 8 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav scored 23 runs in 28 balls and remained unbeaten. Bhuvneshwar kumar scored 16 runs in 36 balls, Ruturaj Gaikwad 14 runs in 10 balls.

Lankan bowlers proved their ability. Wanindu Hasaranga made his best T20 bowling figures and picked up 4 wickets just for 13 runs in 4 overs. Really outperforming bowling by Wanindu Hasaranga. Dasun Shanaka picked up 2 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs. Chameera and Mendis each picked up 1 wicket.

In reply Srilanka easily chased down the target in 14.3 overs by losing only 3 wickets. Dhananjaya de Silva scored unbeaten 23 runs in 20 balls. Wanindu Hasaranga scored 14 runs in 9 balls and remained unbeaten.

Rahul Chahar is the one man army who fought against Lankan batsman and picked up 3 wickets just for 15 runs in 4 overs. Wanindu Hasaranga was the player of the match and series for his brilliant performance.
