WEEK MATCH 34 PROTEST AT OLD TRAFFORD

There are two things I love and can't do without in this world and they are playing music and watching football. I'm a staunch supporter of the Manchester united Football club. There are two players then that made me love manchester united wholeheartedly although they are not in the team anymore- they are Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. The duo made me think then, that without them, manchester united chances of winning will be too slim which isn't true. The winning of Champions league '08 flared-up the loyal support I had for the team.

The above fixture is one of the greatest and interesting In the history of premier league football tournament. Among Iconic players are Fernando torres, Dimitar Babertov, Luis Suarez, Juan mata, Steven Gerrard, Javier Hernandez (known as 'chicharito') and so many more players.
The two teams had faces off each other twice this season already- the First leg of premier league which ended with a goaless draw(0-0) at Anfield stadium.

Then the second time was that of the round 16 in the fa cup tournament which ended with 3-2 in favour of manchester united at Old Trafford; Mohammed Salah scored the brace for his side(liverpool) then Mason Greenwood scored the first goal for the red devils, then Marcus Rashford [MBE] scored the second goal and the substituted-in Bruno Fernandes scored an astonishing stunning free kick; a decisive winning goal for the Red devils which qualified us to the next round of the FA cup tournament.
You can imagine the kind of anticipation I have for the second leg premier league match between the giant teams being the two must successive english teams in Europe tournament, then Liverpool trying to be in top four in the table so as to be in champions league tournament next season, then Man utd trying to secure the second position behind Manchester city.

This reasons made this match be a would-watch match to a lot of people, football enthusiast and me inclusively. At first , due to the anticipation, I went to the football center on Saturday believing the match was fixed on that day but I later got to know that it was the next day, which I was very anxious of, to watch. The following day, I got to the football viewing center by 4pm to watch the match that was fixed by 4:30pm, few minutes later, I got to know that the match would be delayed due to the ongoing protest at Old Trafford by the fans, when I heard that, I was so unhappy cos they ruined the moment I've been waiting for.

But I later got to know what the protest was all about. About the UEFA super league idealism which was propounded by Juventus Chairman - Andrea Agnelli. The Fans weren't cool with the team's involvement in the tournament. The match was later postponed due to the peaceful protest- turned- violent as they damage equipments in the stadium.

But I later realized why the fans made the protest during the time of kick off. I guess it's because it'll make their protest effective but I think they shouldn't go too far in the
act of vandalism...
