So China threatening with sanctions is outrageous

Oh for sure it is. The thing I don't understand is what sort of sanctions they could possibly impose on countries that have otherwise functioning economies. Is China not going to export any cheaply made and barely functioning copies of Korean or Japanese products to said nations if they don't comply? pfffft

The problem is a lot of big companies have their production in China do to cheap labour and disrespect for the environment by the Chinese government, which makes production costs lower. I suspect they think they can use that to threaten some countries. But the thing is there are other dirt poor countries that can offer the same advantages.

So I don't know what can China achieve with threatening, other than lose these giants that are feeding a good part of the population.
