Incompetency in EPL on the high

The English Premier league officiating efficiency continues to go down the ladder as the officials of the English Premier league continue to get decisions wrong and causing more harm than good.

Every match week, complains always spring up concerning decisions by officials and many teams are losing their patience with the failure of VAR and the match officials.

On Saturday, a wrong call was made by the referee in the game of Chelsea against Manchester United which a penalty was supposed to be awarded to Chelsea when Maguire fouled Azpiliqueta but it wasn't given and that could have been a match decided.

Also, another wrong call by the officials in the game of Arsenal against Leicester City.

A goal by Lacazette that was supposed to stand was cancelled with a shallow review and the VAR officials refused to do their job.

In the course of the game, Leicester City got all three points with a late goal by Verdy.

Reports came in earlier today that an apology was sent by the EPL to Arsenal concerning the wrong call by the officials and insist on making things better with officiating.

An apology that can't undo the wrongs.
