The Trail Blazers continue their victories away from home

Damian Lillard scored 22 points and 11 assists as the Portland Trail Blazers 122-117 win over the Toronto Raptors in the NBA last night.

CJ McCollum scored 23 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, and had seven rebounds with the Trail Blazers, who won their last three away matches.

Derek Jones Jr. added 16 points with Portland, Robert Covington scored 13 points and 12 rebounds, and former Raptors player Norman Powell scored 13 points, in addition to ten points for Joseph Norkitch and Ennis Kanter.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 26 points, OJ Anunobi added 19 points and 10 rebounds, Fred Van Fleet 20 points, Chris Butcher 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Raptors played without Kyle Lowry due to injury, Diandre Pembre and Paul Watson Jr. for health and safety protocol reasons.

The two teams clinched a deal on Thursday that saw Powell move to Portland while Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood joined Toronto.

The Raptors led 41-32 at the end of the first quarter, and 74-68 at the end of the first half.

Powell scored a crushing basket to put Portland one point ahead, five minutes and 21 seconds behind the end of the third quarter. Jones capped a 14-point rally without a response with a basket that gave Portland a seven-point lead at the end of the third quarter.

Portland climbed to fifth in the West Division with 28 wins and 18 defeats, while the Raptors are 11th in the East with 18 wins and 28 defeats
