The Tokyo 2020 Olympics was originally being scheduled in 24 July to 9 August 2020 , but due to COVIC-19 the event has been postponed to 23 July until 8 August 2021 in Tokyo Japan . Even the event start in 2021 , but they still using TOKYO 2020 for marketing and branding purposes. The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games will be held 24 August and 5 September 2021 after the Olympics
