The opening 3 games have given a nice spread of scores and scenarios but the 3rd match between The Renegades and The Thunder certainly provided the tightest finish to date and ultimately that is what you want in T20 cricket. Congratulations to @motu1 who will the final author payout in SPORTS sent to him via the @null account

Brisbane play their second home game this week and will hope that it ends better than the first. Their opening day loss against The Thunder came at the GABBA while this match will take place on the Gold Coast at Carrara Stadium. The Heat played here twice last year and lost both matches which ended in relatively high-scoring affairs. The third game at this venue last year was actually considered a home fixture for the Victoria-based Stars and they won it so I guess you could argue that there is little home advantage in tomorrow's game.

The Heat were well on top in the early stages of their match against the Thunder before allowing them to post a very competitive score and then never really getting into the run chase. Whether they bat or bowl first this time around the Heat will need to be wary of the power and quality that the Stars possess in their line-up. Across both teams, there is enough hitting ability to suggest that this should be a high-scoring game.

Simultaneously, neither side looks to have the best options with the ball particularly in the seam bowling department. The Stars main man Dale Steyn will not be available for this match while of course, The Heat are still waiting on the arrival of their own South African star, AB deVilliers.

The Heat destroyed the Stars in the corresponding fixture last season, chasing down 156 in just 10 overs for the loss of no wickets! You'd do well to find a much more one-sided affair than that in T20 cricket!

Entries for this competition close at 8am GMT on Friday, 20th December

I don't know why, but I am still liking 290. That is going to be my go to from now on. I will have to be close at least one of these times!

Yupp you are right buddy, I was hopping that because "Haris Rauf" is a wonderful young bowler who conceded just 3 runs in his last over. any way no worry i will try in next contest.
I am really thankful to you friend @talesfrmthecrypt, for providing such an enetertaining activityt.

I expect a well-balanced tie. If heat bats first I expect something around 296
