Atletico Madrid draw, Manchester United win - Lots of talking point

Finally the weekend is over and we are back to our normal routine. Despite my team loosing their match, I was really impressed by how the week ended. At first it started so hard for me but it later got to the stage where things change for the best. I must admit that I really enjoy this week to the fullest.

A lot of interesting matches was played yesterday but despite my team loosing, I still enjoy myself to the fullest. Cutting across the different league we have, I was really impressed by all the matches. The first league I will love to talk about is the Spanish premier league. I was talking on my last post that I don't like seeing one team winning the league all the time. This year is looking different.

Yesterday, it was Atletico Madrid that played against Real Madrid. I know this match is going to be so interesting and entertaining. You have to see how fun it is. You have to see how the both team were struggling to see who will walk away with three (3) point. It was Atletico Madrid that opened the scoring first, through Luiz Suarez. This has taken Luiz Suarez to seventeen (17) goals this season in the Spanish premier league. This goal ends the first half in favour of Atletico Madrid. The second half started with both side missing chances as they kept the match tempo high by dishing out awesome performance.

While the tempo of the match was high, Real Madrid fans started loosing hope after seeing that the time is far gone. Despite this Real Madrid players didn't lost hope, they keep on pushing. This is why I said it is not yet over until it is over. I love how the Real Madrid team didn't give up, they know that they can still get things done. Just two (2) minutes to go, Karim Benzema and Casemiro carried out an awesome display. They counter the Atletico fc team in their box and that sees Karim Benzema scoring as his team get back to levelled terms. Wow, Benzama cancelled what could have been Atletico Madrid first win against Real Madrid since they move to their new stadium. This could have meant alot to tico.

Coming to the English premier league we have matches that was played yesterday and a day before yesterday. Arsenal fc continues their poor run as they played out 1 vs 1 draw with Burnley. This is the worst form for Arsenal fc over a decade now. Securing a draw with Burnley fc is so poor. Arsenal fc are currently occupying 10th position while Burney fc are in 15th position currently.

After that match, the Manchester city and Manchester United match started. I was thinking the point will be for City, but it went the other way round as Manchester United defeated Manchester city by two goals to nil. The goals were scored by Bruno Fernandez and Luke Shaw. Assuming I was asked to predict that match, there is no way I will pick Manchester United to get the three point over Manchester city. What really interest me is that this win has reduce some point from that of Manchester city's. The point difference between the two team is now 13 point difference. Although I have written Manchester United off, they will be the runners up and not the winner. The trophy is for Manchester city.

Before I end this post, I was opportuned to watch the Liverpool fc versus Fulham fc ?match and I was disappointed. I was thinking we are going to get the three point here but it didn't happen like that. Jurgen Klopp at this stage is just confused and it shows that our hope of qualifying for the Uefa champions league is almost over. If things don't change now or rather still, any more loose, they are out. They will settle for the Europa league.

We all knows that if Liverpool fc fails to qualify for the Uefa champions league next season, it will be more disaster for the team as some of the players will depart from the team and this means more work for Jurgen Klopp to do. I just wish it doesn't get to this stage, Amen.
