Is there still hope for Liverpool fc in the Uefa champions league?

I was really engaged yesterday but I did not allows that to weigh me down. If you check on my last post before this you will see where I said that I am very sure that Liverpool fc will scale through. For sure I am not still backing off. I knew when they get to Anfield Real Madrid will passes through a lot. You can see what my team did to Barcelona fc some years ago. Nobody ever expected that. They were all shocked when that happens.

When Real Madrid scored the first and second goal I was really sad, immediately we got one back I knows we are in for business not until we allowed them to have another goal making it 3-1. What does this tells us? This shows that we need to win 2 inother to qualify to the next round. We have a goal at Santiago Bernabau and that means two goals for Liverpool fc so far. If Liverpool fc scored one, it means they are in leveled terms with Real Madrid, the away goals will scale Liverpool through.

Today match show that the correct scores for the match is 3-2. If Liverpool defeat them 1nil at Anfield it will make it 3-3 but away goals will now be counted. If it is 2 goals for Liverpool fc, it means they have also qualified too. It will be four (4) goals all together against Real Madrid three (3) goals. For sure the return leg will be more entertaining, it is one match that I won't want to miss for any reason.

Before we got played the match my prayers was for Liverpool fc to have away goal, I know if they do so, it will help them along the line to have a better chance when they will be hosting Real Madrid at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp needs to let the team knows that they can still gets the win. Remember the powerful saying that states that, it is not yet over not until it is over. The team have to put in their and delivers when the return leg starts. I wasn't expecting Liverpool fc to get a win at Real Madrid, what I wanted is the away go which we got.

Seeing the way Liverpool fc team defence is still having issues flashed my mind back to the point where we have Geo Gomez and Van Dijk partnering, it was really full of confidence. We surely need a replacement for those players or prays they recovers so soon in other to help the team. Geo Gomez will be out of the season while it is possible for Van Dijk to return back but the challenges at hand is when will he be available again, his absence is really being missed.

Well, the time is not far again, very soon we shall see the return leg being played, the issue will now be will the team ready to push and put in their best in other for them to conquer the challenges ahead. It is not yet over, I trust my team, although they are not in good form but I am very sure we will get the win and progresses to the next round which is the semi final.

After the match I was seeing Liverpool fc to fans casting blames on Naby Keita. Of course his performance was very poor as he cost us the lost. Our defence should be look into too. Take a look at how the two central pair were not capable to handle things. They are still showing that they lack experience. Alexandra Anord performance is questionable too. But that aside, I believe this is not the right full time to cast blames, this is the time to work things out. If we keep casting blames like this, it will affect the team in the next round.

I know Naby Keita performance and some players performance was bad, but we have to brace ourselves up and patch up the leaking ship. The reason for the second leg is for us to correct the blunders we committed during the first leg encounter. We should go fully with one mind altogether in that return leg match, if we do so, the sky will not be our limit, we will progresses far and ends up winning the Uefa champions league.

There is something I almost omit, if we win the Uefa champions league trophy, it shows that we have automatically qualified for the Uefa champions league next season. We need to win this trophy as our stand in the English premier League is in trouble. We are in 6 position and it is looking like a strong battle to get to top four (4) and retain it before the English premier league rounds up. This is why we have to win the Uefa champions league trophy. Another bad thing is that if we fail to qualify for the Uefa champions league competition next season most of the players will depart. Mohammed Salah, Gini Windnajum, Roberto Firmino and host of others might goes out. If this continues it means we will suffers more when next season starts. This is just my fear for the team so far. Issues really looming ahead for us.
