The hand of God, Diego Maradona is gone

I have been trying to write my soccer post for some time but I think I am really tired with what I have really passed through some hours back. While surfing through the web yesterday, I came across a sad story which still touches me till now. So Diego Maradona is gone? What a bad period for the family of Diego Maradona. He is a legend who has contributed his part to the success of soccer entirely.

When I saw the news yesterday, I was really sad because I felt a legend is gone. Before feeling sad, I had to first of all debunk the news that he is dead. I had to first of all rush into the net to confirm if what I am hearing is true. Getting to numerous source, I later found out that the news I debunked earlier is true. You just have to see how I felt. I was just looking like a new born baby who was confuse on what to do next and also what to say.

Although, I am not from same country with him but one thing is sure. When it comes to soccer, an injury to one is an injury to all. Incase you still don't know, Diego Maradona was born on the 30th of October, 1960. My country gain independent on that month. Since he was born 1960 and he died 2020, the age tally took him to 60 years of age. What a pity I must say. He is too young for him to have departed from this world.

At first, I was thinking he is close to 80 years of age but when I later discovered that he is just 60 years of age, I felt bad. He didn't enjoy his legacy at all. Since he hails from Argentina and he is a great legend who has taken the Argentina football to an apex height, I believe the country will be looking for all strategies to make sure such a befeating burial is carried out for him. I learnt that the country has declared 3days of mourning for him. This is to show appreciation to him for putting the country's name in the world map.

Diego Maradona will be remembered for the goal he scored against England which he tagged the hand of God. At first he denied using his hand but later consented and name the goal the hand of God, so funny right. Yeah, that is what he did. When ever you mention Diego Maradona the thing that ran into my head is the hand of God.

My prayer for this family at this point in time is that surely the Lord will act as their comforter during this hard time. I believe the family will surely maintain his legacy and keep the name of the family running. They should not felt broken, things will surely get better.
