Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool fc - Can Liverpool fc get their first win this year?

After Jurgen Klopp takes over the Anfield role, we can beat our chest and say we enjoy his reign so far. Through him, I was able to see Liverpool fc winning the English premier league, this is something we haven't achieve for about 20 years now. What a milestone achieved by him so far. During his time, he was able to win the Uefa champions league, Club world cup and Super cup. You just have to love this man for what he has achieved so far. He is a legend and will forever be a legend at Anfield.

For some time now, my team Liverpool fc have experienced the worst form. I really don't know where the issue is coming from but at first it was the issues of injuries which we are still battling up till now. The reason I am not blaming Jurgen Klopp is the challenges he is facing right now. Imagine almost everybody are out injured. Almost the entire squad has been hit. Some are not fully back up till now. Van Dijk, Chamberlain, Gomez, Jota and others are still out injured. When Jota was signed and featured in matches, he performed very well and scored some goals.

During the period he was performing beautifully, people were hipping praises on him and the entire Liverpool fc team were in order. We were winning games and we didn't miss Roberto Firmino poor form. Jota was playing as if he has been in the team for like a year. He picked up so fast and you need to see how the team was looking healthy. At first I do not believe in him but I believe on Jurgen Klopp signing. So I have to trust in him so much. After watching how he was playing, I was very happy and I know he is a good replacement for Roberto Firmino. The issue here is that I Don't know if he is that injury prone player or not. I hate to see players on good form going to injuries. The moment he sustain injury and went for medical treatment, things changed in the team and we started struggling to record a win.

Since this year started we haven't won a match, this is really bad I must confess. I am not impress at all. What a shame I must say. I check the table and saw that we are occupying 5th position. This is really bad, a disgrace to me and the team. The fifth position we were occupying is not a bad position because we are very close to top 1. At least they are above us with 7 point. Although, Manchester City is a bad team, when they gets to the top, it is very difficult to see them dropping down. When choices of who will win the league was drawn, I saw them winning the league base on their awesome performance I must admit. We know it will mean war if we want to get them out of the top spot.

I am just observing Van Dijk right now, I just can't wait to have him back. The defence is suffering right now. No composer and that is a big issue. When he is around we know how he does thing and the defence is so hard to break in. When he partnered with Joe Gomez, he influenced Joe Gomez performance and the dude picked up and became a better defender. Injury is a bad thing, the team is just missing them and that is affecting the team progress so far. We can see the loop hole without even asking any seer. I am just praying for him to be back fully.

Looking at how Thiago Alcantara has been playing, I am so impressed by what I am seeing so far but people are complaining badly. He is the reason Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are performing badly. The reason I am saying this is not that he is a bad player. He is a very intelligent player who controls the ball nicely but the issue is that he keeps slowing the progress of the game play thereby not feeding his forward properly. He needs to be fast and the team will be back to winning.

Now that we have this difficult fixture with Tothenham Hotspur, we should know that a win is important for we. This is why this match seems vital for us. We are just tired of seeing draws all the time. Tottenham Hotspur on their own will need a win, so this is a concerning issue for Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool fc board and the fans too. I just don't know what to say but if we are not strong enough, Tottenham Hotspur will get us defeated. I will end this post here and update you on how it goes between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool fc.
