Uefa Euro 2020 Quarter final progress: Which and which team made it to the Semi's

Since we started the Uefa Euro 2020 title race it has been one amazing moment to the other. If we fall back to memories we will see that this competition is surely going to be full of positive vibes. Some team that we classified as favourite are nowhere to be found because they think they have all it takes to be crowned champions. Their confidence at the end of everything is what fails them.

I am referring to France team, just see how they were knocked out by Switzerland. Now Switzerland almost repeat same thing with Spain but at the end of the match it all ended up in a penalty kick, this is where Spain got the upper hand against Switzerland. I must admit Switzerland really showed thay they are in deed a very good sides but because of some certain reason they didn't make it to the other round which is the Semi final. Anyway Switzerland has done well, it is now left for them to bid the competition farewell as Spain keeps up with the mantle.

Belgium and Italy is one team that I respected so much. Truth be told I felt really bad seeing that both of them were drawn together. Well, this is football you are to expect anything. Before the match even started I already predicted that Italy will win the match. The match started so well with both side pressuring themselves. In the 31st minute the difference sets in as Italy scored through Nicolo Barella and the assist came from Marco Verratti.

When this goal came in I said it is finish because I know Italy will love to hold on to it. I was expecting Belgium to bounce back by pressuring Italy so massively but that didn't happen as in the 44th minute Lorenzo Insigne makes it 2 nil for Italy. Immediately this goal got in you have to see how Belgium retract their ways as if the spell Italy is using on them is over. Belgium knows that it is no longer going to be easy for them so they started pressuring the Italian team. As we have it their countering ends up working for them as Romelu Lukaku makes it 2-1 in the 42+2 mins. You need to see how they were performing, it shows they are in for business but the match ended 2-1 in first half in favour of the Italian team.

I panic a little bit because I know that Belgium seems back in business but as we have it, it doesn't happend like that. The entire match ended 2vs1 in favour of the Italian team. I was really satisfied with the result I got from the match base on the fact that I am supporting the Italian team. Belgium messed up big time by not making use of the opportunities they got.

The match next in line is the Czech Republic match against Denmark. I have always fancy the Czech Republic side, the reason for such fancy is because if you take your time and go through history of this competition from 1960 till date you will see that the Czech Republic side has good record in this competition. I know Denmark is a very good team so I was just watching to see if Czech Republic can defeat them.

The match started and just 5 mins into the match Denmark have scored Czech Republic. The goal came from Thomas Delaney and the assist was from
J. S. Larsen. This goal demoralizes the Czech Republic team as it was just too fast and early for them to handle as they weren't expecting it. I was expecting them to bounce back but that didn't happen as Kasper Dolberg scored in the 42nd minute through the assist from Joakim Maehle. This crippled the Czech Republic team the more as the first half ended like that. Second half started and the Czech Republic side finally got a goal in the 49th minute through Patrik Schick and the assist was from Vladimir Coufal. This is just what ended the match. The game looks exactly like that of Belgium and Italy.

With this wins we now have Denmark, Spain, Italy all through to the Semi final as they await either England or Ukraine. To those that have qualified I am using this medium to say congratulations to them. They truly deserves it as we know is not easy at all.
