The 2020/2021 English Premier League begins

Sports lovers will be very much excited as the English Premier League kickstarted on the 12th of September 2020.

Last season was a remarkable and exciting one as Liverpool FC clinched the trophy after a 30 years title draught. So, they begin this season's title race as defending champions.

During the brief break, the transfer window has been bubbling and very busy especially for Chelsea FC. Chelsea FC in a bid to be a strong title contender did buy a lot of players while also offloading some like Willian to Arsenal.

The 2020/2021 season will be a really tough one as every team has its side fortified. The season also welcomes three new teams from Championship which includes; Leeds United, Fulham FC and Aston Villa.

The opening day had the following matches and scores:

Fulham vs Arsenal
Liverpool vs Leeds United
Crystal Palace vs Southampton
Westham United vs Newcastle FC

Arteta's Arsenal showed themselves prepared for the season has they did thrash their opponents three goals to nil in an away game. On the other hand, Leeds Utd gave Liverpool FC a tough start although the defending champions won the seven goals thriller game scoring four in the match. Mo Salah who was the man of the match took the ball home has he netted a hat-track.

West Ham lost to Newcastle by two goals to nil while Crystal Palace won with just a lone goal.

We expect to see more as the season unfolds. But the big question is; who will win the trophy?
