Who was at fault - Hamilton or Verstappen? Video showing the crash and the aftermath!

I am not much of a Formula 1 fan, but this weekend I actually paid a bit of attention to the events due to the crash between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, the two leading Formula 1 drivers in the world at the moment, and the two at the top of the Formula 1 leadership table so far this season.

Before the race, Verstappen had a quite nice lead in front of Lewis Hamilton, but after the race, it has shrunk down to 8 points. What happened in the race?

Max Verstappen had a lead on Lewis Hamilton, but it was a very close race with small attacks from Lewis Hamilton all the time. It didn't take a long time in the first round before Hamilton came up on the side of Verstappen, and then when a turn came and the drivers were driving at around 160 MPH (which is more than 250 KMH), they hit one another and Verstappen lost a wheel and the race was ruined, but at least he was lucky enough to get out of the car alive and well.

But, what happened? Who was to blame?

A small price to pay for Lewis Hamilton!

This is an interesting discussion because Lewis Hamilton was later punished with a 10s extra time. In other words, the judges deemed him to be guilty of the accident. But, considering that he later won the race even so, and Max Verstappen was out of the game, it turned into a giant victory for Lewis Hamilton, looking at the big picture.

And if we think that Lewis Hamilton was guilty, then the 10-second penalty was nothing at all compared to the advantage he took of the situation.

But, if he wasn't guilty, then he shouldn't have received a penalty at all. If he was guilty, then the penalty should have been way bigger.

These are just some thoughts I had... what do you think? I would love to hear what other big-time Formula 1-fans might think about the matters!

The next race will be the Hungarian Grand Prix on August 1st. Even though I might not be a big fan, this has suddenly turned interesting, so I might actually watch it if I have the chance.

And, so you do not forget about it... the Summer Olympics opening ceremony will take place in three days, and the first football and basketball matches of the tournament will begin tomorrow! Are you ready?
