SportsTalkSocial Community fully Supports Decentralization
Nothing is as possible as when a community is determined to champion a course. Certainly, tiny efforts when pooled together would become a great force that can surge great development.
Just few weeks ago the @Sportstalksocial community launched the proposal system which is to allow all SPORTS stakeholders to participate in governance when it comes to the Sportstalk tribe. The first proposal which was to impose a 50% tax on non-native sportstalk posts failed as only 50% Governance Power was pooled against the needed 51%. This had surged a concern as to how effective the proposal system would be especially as it attracts a cost of 100,000 (about 30 HIVE) in the process.
Today, it's exciting to see the "Proposal Results For: ~~Proposal to Launch @sportswitness for Hive Engine Witness" passed with 52.5% GP pooled in support. A confirmation of the success of the proposal is evidenced in the recent post by @Sports-gov.

The proposal for Sportswiness was necessitated when Aggroed announced Hive-Engine 2.0 on the layer 2! with a major update being the decentralization of Hive's second layer and the call for witness votes as obtainable in the base layer. Patrickulrich announced the proposal to earn the community's support to run a witness which on the long run would serve as an additional revenue source for the STS community as well as allow the community to partake in major decisions as it bothers the second layer tokens.
This proposal is aimed at launching our own witness for the Hive Engine second layer under the @sportswitness account. Using that account I will operate a HE witness node using a VPS provided by Privex. The witness account will be added to the @sports-gov management system so that the community can decided how any rewards earned from our witness node gets spent using the existing proposal system.
With this, we see a new beginning for the SPortstalksocial community. The second proposal for Patrickulrich to manage the on sportstalk website is already receiving a huge support and voting has passed the 51% thresh-hold. This means that is too passing.
The community and stakeholders are finding good reasons to be a part of the development ongoing. This would appreciate engagement on the frontend as well as cause stakholders to seek more SPORTS Power to gain voting relevance for their choice projects.
We now have a more SECURED asset in SPORTS as it is run on a decentralized layer and we're hopeful that the future for the token is brighter than ever seen.
Get more SPORTS today and hodl them as they'll be worth 5 times its present value in the next three months.
It's really a good development going on in the sportstalk community. It shows things are getting better and improving everyday.

You are correct about that, it is proof that the team is really working to make the Sports token the highest token in the second layer.
That had been sometimes in the past. SPortstaksocial was the top tribe. Just that we had people who were draining the system beyond repairs. Glad they're no more in the high ranks.

Indeed anything is possible with a group of people with the same mind and goals.
I would rather say it is just a glimpse of what is about to begin because it is obvious that things are improving with this new proposal and causing people who never believed in Sports token to start looking for ways of Hodl before it moons.
That's just true. With more hodling and with more staking, we'll soon see the highs of $0.01 valued sports.
We are waiting for that moment but the truth is the moment isn't far from now.
It is definitely a good thing for the community. I am glad that there is so much support in the community to participate in these proposals. I know some of them will be more controversial, but I am glad that these less controversial proposals are passing. I will continue to stake the SPORTS I get to improve my GP for these upcoming proposals.
We still have one proposal by @amr008 about the engagement project and I hope it passes as well.
That's what truly defines decentralization. We all air our opinion and support it. That's why building stakes is important at a time as this/
