The 5 NFL Teams Most Likely to Relocate (Part 2)

Yesterday I posted the first part of the 5 teams most likely to relocate in the NFL. Check it out here. We had the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans. The common denominator are stadium leases but fortunately for those three, strong on field performances in recent times have strengthened their likelihoods of remaining in their host cities.

For the next two, it's getting more and more precarious but has on field performances given them all a stay of execution? Let's find out.

2. Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati is a smaller market NFL team. As it continues to shrink its a huge concern especially as the Bengals are an NFL team likely to relocate.

The lease at Paul Brown Stadium expires in 2026 and the Bengals have no contractual obligations to exercise the optional rolling two-year extensions that could extend the lease through to 2036.

The Bengals have done themselves a favour with holding off NFL relocation after their Super Bowl LVI appearance but there has been local opposition to spending money on stadium upgrades.

Could the Bengals be an option for NFL international expansion team candidates?

The Bengals lease at Paul Brown Stadium is up in 2026. My uncle and I were talking today and we agreed this season may very well have saved the Bengals in Cincinnati. This huge spike in success and popularity is crucial and timely.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars tops the list of NFL team likely to relocate. The Jacksonville market is only bigger than Buffalo, New Orleans And Green Bay but the issue is that they keep on losing.

NFL relocation rumours won't end for Jacksonville until they start winning. In 14 seasons from 2008 the Jaguars made the playoffs only once.

The Jaguars have one of the worst NFL fan bases and have had issues in the past filling TIAA Bank Field, which is aging and in need of major upgrades. The lease expires in 2030 and makes the Jaguars a real NFL relocation possibility.

There are many potential NFL expansion cities who would welcome Jacksonville relocating, and top NFL international expansion city candidate London is a favourite, the location where Jaguars' owner Shahid Khan's Premier League team Fulham FC is located.

If there’s ever been a candidate for relocation it has to be the Jaguars. Total dumpster fire from top to bottom. Maybe London is their best shot.

Not sure if you play video games but Madden was how I started it all. It's a great way to pick up American Football at your own pace

Despite the fact that they nearly won the big dance this past year I am surprised that Cincy was able to hang onto the team for as long as they have. Being terrible for so long in a city that barely has the population necessary to support a team in the first place has to be tough.
