CHRONICLE DAY 14 VOLLEYBALL SM2 CALASANCIAS CORUÑA AND PRECRÓNICA OF DAY 15

Bad weekend of Calasancias Coruña in his trip to Extremadura to play double day, Saturday against Extremadura Cáceres PH and Sunday against Volleyball Pacense Extremadura. Both matches went clearly for the local teams by the same result of 3-0, showing much more solidity in all facets of the game than the Coruña, which throughout the weekend were very irregular in their game.

On Saturday Calasancias Coruña never felt comfortable against Extremadura Cáceres PH, who took advantage of the home court factor to control the game of the team from A Coruña, unable to overcome the great blocking of the locals. The team from Caceres controlled the whole match thanks to their good serve and their dominance at the net, where their Brazilian center player stood out, continuously blocking the attacks from A Coruña. The scoreboard reflects the dominance of the team from Extremadura, who won 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-15).

Sunday's match against Volleyball Pacense Extremadura was more even than the previous day, although Calasancias Coruña was slow to enter the match. In this match, both teams showed a good attack, which was imposed on the blocks and defences, although the home team kept control of the match. Only in the third set, the team from A Coruña offered their best version, getting to have a great advantage on the scoreboard thanks to their good serve and blocking, but in the end the nerves and the lack of security in their attacking actions made possible the comeback of the team from Badajoz, taking the match. The result of this match was 3-0, with sets of 25-12, 25-21 and 27-25.

Next weekend again Calasancias Coruña will travel to Extremadura to face in Miajadas the Extremadura Grupo Laura Otero, next Saturday 27 at 19.00 h. This team is at the top of the table, fighting for the positions with the right to fight for promotion, so Calasancias Coruña must offer their best level of play to try to score.
