Clear victory of the local team of Extremadura Grupo Laura Otero last Saturday in Miajadas (Cáceres), reinforcing their aspirations of promotion. Calasancias Coruña could do little against a team superior in net, with players of great experience and physical power, who controlled the match at all times.

The match began with an even first set, with alternative attacks from both teams, where the speed of play prevented the formation of the blocks. Some errors in the service and reception allowed the locals to distance themselves on the scoreboard, which gave them the tranquillity to take the set maintaining the difference acquired in the middle of the set by these errors from A Coruña.
The second set was clearly dominated by the locals. Calasancias Coruña made too many errors in attack and reception, allowing the locals to move away on the scoreboard thanks to their good level of play at the net.

In the third set, Calasancias Coruña came back into the match, thanks to a good line blocking complemented with a good diagonal field defence, allowing counterattacks where the Coruñeses did the damage. The good level of play was maintained until the middle of the set, where the locals began to make a year with their attack through the middle of the net, unable to be stopped by Calasancias Coruña, acquiring again the control of the set, and the match.
