RESULT. 3-0 (26-24, 25-21 y 25-23)

Match of the penultimate day played in Vigo between the last two classified in the SM2, which went to the home team in a very equal match with a final score of 3-0.

The first set was a perfect reflection of what happened throughout the match. Both teams were very equal in all facets of the game, where the good local blocking was compensated with good reception and second-line defence of A Coruña, and local failures in serving were compensated with A Coruña's attacking errors. In this way the set passed at all times with a very even score, being decided at the last moment with an attacking error of Calasancias Coruña.

The second set was similar to the first until 17-17: alternatives on the scoreboard for both teams, with a very even game. However in this set Calasancias Coruña made their usual mistakes at the end of the set, failing the decisive attacks and showing doubts in the reception, which were taken advantage of by Vigo Volleyball to take the set clearly.

In the third set, Calasancias Coruña showed a good level of play, with very effective attacks in the middle zone, also managing to stop the attacks of Vigo with their blocking and a good second-line defence. The set passed in a similar way to the first: alternatives in the scoreboard without achieving differences of more than one point. In the decisive part of the set Calasancias Coruña again made mistakes in their attack, giving the rival enough difference to score in a very tight way the set and the match.

With this result, Calasancias Coruña loses its penultimate chance to score, this time against its most direct rival. They will have to wait for their next match in Barrio de las Flores next Saturday to get it.
