Valencia will host the final phase of the Men's Superliga 2 in which the six best teams of the Regular League of the men's volleyball silver category will take part. The top two teams in each of the three groups will take part in a final phase that will define from April 9 to 11 the two places for promotion to the Men's Superliga.

The six participating teams have been divided into two groups in the draw held Tuesday at the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation. In group A will compete the host team Léleman VB Valencia, Intasa San Sadurniño and Arona Intersport, while in group B will participate Extremadura Grupo Laura Otero, Tarragona SPSP and Cisneros Alter.

The two groups will play a one-round group to form the classification that will define the semifinals on Saturday afternoon, the matches that will place the winners in the grand final on Sunday and with the place of promotion to the Men's Superliga assured. Sunday's final will serve to know the name of the champion of the Men's Superliga 2.

The favourites for promotion are Intasa San Saturnino, who came from last year's relegation from the king category, although they will have to beat the host team. The home-court factor can be decisive if they play evenly matched games.

In the other group, SPSP Tarragona is emerging as favourite, a very young team but with a lot of potential.
