Derrota de Calasancias Coruña en su segundo partido de la temporada de Superliga 2 de voleibol en el partido jugado en Sagrada Familia el sábado por la tarde.
El equipo coruñés desconocía el potencial del equipo rival: equipo canario recién ascendido, del que apenas tenía referencias. Los canarios se presentaron en A Coruña con un equipo muy poderoso, de gran corpulencia y altura, que rápidamente demostró su nivel ofensivo, destacando los brasileños Hister y Córdoba.

El primer set fue de dominio visitante, merced a la gran capacidad ofensiva de su jugador central, que Calasancias Coruña no fue capaz de parar en la red. Sus continuos ataques, unidos a los errores ofensivos de los locales posibilitaron a los canarios hacerse de forma cómoda con el set.
El segundo set fue el más disputado del partido. Calasancias Coruña contrarrestó el ataque visitante con sus jugadores punta Queiro y Deus, que aprovechaban los huecos del bloqueo visitante para mostrar su poder ofensivo, lo que ofrecía alternancia en el marcador. Se mantuvo la igualdad hasta el final del set, momento en el que aparecieron errores en saque y recepción en los coruñeses, entregando el set al rival.

El tercer set se desarrolló de forma muy similar al anterior: nivel de juego similar en ambos conjuntos, con alternancia en el marcador. Los potentes ataques del jugador central visitante fueron respondidos con ataques de los locales Queiro y Deus por las alas, manteniendo la igualdad hasta el 19-19. Al igual que en el set anterior, Calasancias Coruña cometió errores en recepción y ataque al final de set, permitiendo a los canarios escaparse en el marcador y finalizar el partido.
Mañana domingo Calasancias Coruña disputará su tercer partido de la competición ante Extremadura Cáceres PH, con la idea de repetir el partido de la temporada pasada, en el que se impusieron de forma clara en un gran partido

Calasancias Coruña countered the visitor's attack with his top players Queiro and Deus, who took advantage of the holes in the visitor's block to show their offensive power, which offered alternation in the score. The equality was maintained until the end of the set, when errors appeared in the serve and reception of the Coruña players, giving the set to the rival.

The third set developed in a very similar way to the previous one: similar level of play in both sets, with alternation in the score. The powerful attacks of the central player visitor were responded with attacks of the local Queiro and Deus by the wings, maintaining the equality until 19-19. As in the previous set, Calasancias Coruña committed errors in reception and attack at the end of the set, allowing the Canaries to escape on the scoreboard and finish the match.
Tomorrow, Sunday, Calasancias Coruña will play its third match of the competition against Extremadura Cáceres PH, with the idea of repeating last season's match, in which they clearly won in a great match.
