NBA Playoffs: Clippers beat surging Mavericks to advance to the next round

The Los Angeles Clippers advance to the next round with a 111-97 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Kawhi Leonard was on form once again as he scored 33 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Paul George chimed in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

For the Mavericks Luka Doncic got a near triple double, scoring 38 points, getting 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. With the news of Kristaps Porzingis ruled out of the series, the games were more difficult for the Mavericks, relying only on Doncic.

The Clippers will now face the winner of the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz series were both teams are tied at 3-3.

Opinion

The Clippers won as predicted, it could have been a great series if Porzingis wasn't injured. I loved the back and forth of both teams.

This is the first time for Luka Doncic in the playoffs, and oh boy the future is bright for him as he is now a superstar in my opinion. The triple double high scoring performances at such a young age, he will definitely be one of the best players in the NBA or maybe the face of it.
