Sunday run: Up above the streets and houses
Many Brits will get the significance of the title.
It was another damp morning, but more wet air than real rain for much of the run and not terribly cold. There were lots of leaves around, so I had to be wary of it being slippery. I stepped in a few puddles and had to trek through some muddy patches. I started off on the regular Sunday loop to Fairfield and decided early on to extend it out to Norton.
I felt like hard work today, but then there were periods where I was just gliding along absorbed in my podcasts. Even the hills were not going to put me off.
I only saw a few runners, but lots of dog walkers. None of the dogs caused me any trouble today. When I got to Norton there were a group of people who looked like they were warming up for a run, but I did not hang around to see.
Not a bad run overall. I feel I need to do these longer ones to build my stamina. The pace was nothing special, but I could have pushed a little harder.
Run free and stay well.
I chickened out of a run first thing this morning as it was blowing a gale. I've only had a light breakfast though so my options are still open should it calm down a little. If not I think I'll have a bash on the exercise bike a little later on. I'm going to set myself some targets for this second lockdown.
It was a bit breezy out there, but only bad when it was against me. Good luck with those targets. I'll take whatever I can get :)
A great run overall, I would say :)
You got sun and rainbow and gliding sections. Excellent!

Somehow I got more steps on Sunday than I did on Saturday. Even though I was in a car for over four hours driving home from Ohio. Great job on your run!
