BREAKING NEWS: Fourmaux gets seat from M-Sport Ford for WRC Rally Portugal 2021

Hi, friends!

It seems that I am very lucky because I had a chance for a short chat with a new French rally star Adrien Fourmaux who finished sensational 5th overall on the first outing with M-Sport Ford World Rally Team and their top weapon called Ford Fiesta WRC.

Malcolm Wilson, head of M-Sport, believes in this young French talent for the last few seasons and they really invest a lot in his young driver development.

If he was able to conquer very tough Croatian tarmac special stages with 5th place overall in the first outing with that car on the WRC level, then maybe he really deserves a big chance.

So he got it. He will pilot the same car on the next round of World Rally Championship in Portugal.

It is not a tarmac event and Fourmaux is known as a tarmac driver. But it could be also a good chance to see if he is a all surface driver or only a tarmac specialist.

I don't think that it is good to pur too much pressure on that guy but guys from M-Sport Ford already kn that but they are also hungry of the top results which are missing from the days when Seb Ogier gave them two driver's crowns and one manufacturer's crown.

I guess that it is realistic to expect top 8 result and to achieve 5th place or higher should be a sensation for the first WRC outing on gravel.
