Mads Ostberg revealed today on his official Facebook page that he is still waiting for this year's program from Citroen Racing.
Therefore, he won't be in Monte Carlo for the first round of World Rally Championship. French drivers like Camilli, Bonato and Ciamin took all the works seats (in a satellite Citroen's teams) so it seems that Ostberg must wait for fast flowing rallies where these names from above are much slower then him.
These days it is very important to have a seat where you don't have to pay for a drive. And he succeeded with that plan after so many years of being a private driver and later with paying a seat at M-Sport Ford.
Sport is very strange sometimes and you can be super successful but without luck, you are nowhere.
Ostberg won WRC2 crown in 2020 but he is still in a danger of being without a drive fro this season. It is motorsport and nothing is certain until the very last moment.
