Crugnola won Rally Il Ciocco 2020

One day rallies are in these days because of the coronavirus pandemic and organizers want to keep drivers and spectators as safe as possible. That's pretty normal and good.

If needed, I would not allow spectators into fan zone because human lives are in front of the sport or anything else. They can follow the rally online if they want to. Later we will go out and enjoy our sport alive.

I already wrote about Andrea Crugnola as an Italian rising star and that's true because he won today another rally of Italian Rally Championship or in Italy it is called CIR.

The main competitor was Giandomenico Basso who finished 2nd overall and only 10s behind Crugnola. If we see Basso's results, we can see that he was Intercontinental Rally Challenge champion more then once and Italian Rally champion for more then once.

So to beat Basso you need talent and determination and it seems that Crugnola has it all together.

I would say that he will be a new Italian champion but you never know with experienced guys who know how to fight when there is a pressure on.

So that was another great result for Crugnola and Citroen C3 R5.
