FIA revealed WRC Rally Sardinia 2021 entry list

Hi, friends!

I like Rally Sardinia because it has really beautiful gravel special stages. One thing I don't understand is why more super fast Italians don't enter and compete on this great rally.

Well, entry fee is around 4000€ and they all rent the rally cars from their Italian tuners and the cost of the rent is about 3x higher then their average event because it does have 3x more km of the special stages.

I was speaking with guys who competed in Croatia driving the small class about prices of rent and if you want something tougher for the gravel rally, it should be Rally2/r5 car.

The cost of renting Rally2/R5 car for about 300km of gravel stages costs around 50 000€ which is not that much if we know that if you want to compete on Formula 1 or the lower circuit championship, the costs are so much higher.

I really don't know what is better - to won the car or to rent it. If you want to own it, you must have lots of spare parts to repair the car om the rally and that is lots of money beside very expensive rally car.

If you want to rent it, then you will never see that money again after only one long weekend. But you should have very professional service and everything around.

I guess that better option is to own the car and to rent the assistance team which has the spare parts for the car. And later you just pay them if you broke something on the car for the replacement parts.

So, entry list for Rally Sardinia is out, Danis Sordo will drive 3rd car for Hyundai while Teemu Suninen will be back in Ford Fiesta WRC after super fast time at the last year's rally.

Let the best win - as always...
