Gryzin leads ERC Rally Poland after super special stage

Hi, friends!

European Rally Championship has finally started and the first rally of the series is a gravel event. This used to ba a part of the World Rally Championship but after the problems with organization, it was dripped from the highest rank of the sport.

But ok, to organize ERC event, they need 'only' around 400 000€ which is nothing compared to 2m€ when organizing a WRC event.

Charasteristics of this rally are the high speed and lots of crests, something like Rally Finland but without that much of the jumps.

It seems that the toughest rallies on Earth are the ones very similar to the Finnish event. There is a rally currently in the WRC called Rally Estonia which is what Polish event used to be when being in the World Rally Championship.

This edition of the rally has the big entry list with so much fast drivers and also a winner form the time when it was a part of WRC - Andreas Mikkelsen who won it with Volkswagen Polo WRC.

There is a really strong line-up with current ERC champion Alexey Lukyanuk, who also rolled his car during the test on Tuesday and also abother Russian Nikolay Gryazin who also leads the rally after super special stage.

Rally will be tough, long and demanding and the winner will be known after the final special stage of the rally.

Enjoy...
