Hi, friends!

M-Sport Ford was the first team that started with testing of the new generation of WRC1 cars and they probably progressed the most with running of the car on gravel for at least one week.

Initial test drivers for M-Sport were Matthew Wilson and the new young star in making Adrien Fourmaux.

Toyota also did some initial running of their car but this was also without hybrid battery unit which gives troubles to all three teams because of the terminal error on itself.

Batteries and hybrid units are at the manufacturer's center where they work on the further development of how to repair the glitches from it.

There are some news that hybrid unit with battery weights 100kg so the teams currently test with 100kg ballast and without hybrid units just to see how the car handled that way.

So Hyundai Motorsport published today on their social medias the very short video of the WRC1 car running probably for the first time.

Now they have Ott Tanak and Thierry Neuville under their contract and now they can start to develop it properly.
