Lukyanuk to continue with Citroen C3 Rally2 in European Rally Championship

One of the fastest Russian drivers and double European Rally Champion Alexey Lukyanuk will continue to drive for Citroen and Sainteloc Racing in this season.

It will be a 3rd consecutive season for Russian to drive with Citroen and only a bad luck with some mechanical issues (and some mistakes) ruined his chances to already have three ERC titles.

He will have a strong opposition in Andreas Mikkelsen this season who is driving for Škoda Motorsport through their satellite team Toksport form Germany.

O predict really tough fight between two of them but I would give more chances to Mikkelsen because he used to win WRC rallies and Lukyanuk doesn't have that much experience in fighting against that strong drivers like Mikkelsen (who is Norwegian).

His co-driver will be his big friend Alexey Arnautov who helped him to clinch the title after a big error of hos last season's co-driver who misjudged to math and they entered four minutes earlier into the time control and that means four minutes penalty.

Lukyanuk was furious after that mistake and brought his old co-driver and friend Arnautov back to the right seat.
