My friend and mechanic @ivach13 bought Citroen Saxo VTS small racing car!

Hi, friends!

One of my best friends who helped me so much with my rallying, especially from 2017 onwards - @ivach13 decided a few weeks ago that he will have to buy his own racing car which won't be for rallying or some bigger races but for technical racing disiplines such as auto slalom, chronometer or formula driver (potentially).

I wqs hearing about this project for some time but today he finally bought and took the car home and we went for a test ride.

OK, it is not that powerful and it doesn't have sequential gearbox like my car has, but it's very nice car to start with racing at the technical disciplines after that who knows.

I can tell you only that I am happy the same way as he is because this guy did so much work on my rally cars, helped me financially so I know how much this means to him.

I wish him so many racing miles and many good results!

That looks really fun to drive! We don't get small cars like that in America anymore. Maybe a used Fiesta ST.. they used to be cheap. But they're not on sale new anymore and ones in decent condition are a lot pricier (+50% I think)

Fiesta ST 150bhp is a great car to drive. My friend and occasional co-driver Damir P drove it and he said that car has incredible handling, much better then any of these European cars with the range up to 200bhp (road cars). :) Saxo VTS lacks some power. There is a 16v version with 118bhp but @ivach13 didn't want that one. He said that 8v is enough for him!
