SPA Rally replaces ERC Rally Cyprus 2020

Hi, friends!

It seems that coronavirus pandemic made lots of trouble for rally organizers because it is not an easy thing to collect around 400 000€ to pay Eurosport Events to be a part of European Rally Championship.

It is hard to find this kind of a sponsorship today because lots of business has shut down and it can be worse but not for long we hope.

Cyprus Rally organizers lost their partnership with Eurosport Events for this season but their rally will be run for national championship of Cyprus and Middle East Rally Championship.

This means that almost whole ERC championship will be a tarmac one except Rally Liepaja which was ran on gravel.

SPA Rally has some connection with famous Formula 1 circuit at SPA in Belgium and it seems that WRC and ERC wants a similar scenario for the season ending.

Also both rallies, SPA and Monza, should be held in December.
