Stritesky won ERC Rally Barum 2024

Hi, friends!

Škoda is still a car to beat in European Rally Championship and we have nine Škoda Fabia Rally2 cars and only one Toyota Yaris Rally2 machine. It is hard to explain more but the lack of top guys with Citroen Rally2 cars which is still the ultimate tarmac Rally2 car plus lots of Czech guys who know this rally upside-down made them easier to dominate it.

Yeah, new name from Czech rally scene Dominik Stratesky (never heard of him before) showed that he can be driver to beat in the future because he survived all the pressure from ERC regulars.

Austrian Simon Wagner drove once again great rally finishing 2nd overall while one of the favorites, Erik Cais finished 3rd overall. Another local Andrej Brezik drove good but nood good enough because Cais beat him to this 3rd place so he must hope for the better future outings.

The only Toyota Yaris Rally2 in top 10 belongs to Filip Mareš who drove consistent event. The thing to add is that winner drove on Hankook tires and that's the first time that this manufacturer won some big event (as far as I know).
