Tanak tested private Hyundai i20 R5 rally car

Hi, friends!

Whole rallying scene stopped after WRC Rally Mexico in March because of the coronavirus pandemic and we didn't see any testing from then because FIA decided to ban any testing for works team during lockout.

But that doesn't mean that drivers can't practice or test on their own with the private cars.

Ott Tanak and Markko Martin, both Estonians, drove Hyundai i20 R5 on their private test. And there was another rally car on the test - Martin's winning Ford Focus WRC from 2000's.

Yeah, for you who didn't hear for Markko Martin, he was very successful driver in his Ford days, winning on gravel and tarmac.

So, Tanak is the first driver to test after Mexican event. I mean first from the top WRC class because Polish driver Kajetan Kajetanovicz had a training with his group N Subaru Impreza N14.

We still have to wait for the news of restarting season but it won't be too soon from what I heard. They say September as the best so far.
