Toyota tested with Hankook tires ahead of 2025 WRC season
Hi, friends!
I already wrote that this season is the last one for Pirelli as tire supplier in the World Rally Championship and that Hankook won the tender to become a new supplier from 2025 in multiple year deal.
It is autumn and the time for tire testing ahead of new season. It seems that Toyota works team was the first one to have that duties so they called their first driver Elfyn Evans to try and compare old Pirelli tires with the new Hankooks.
He didn't say a word about it but Hankook will do their best to make all the drivers happy on the special stages.
I used Hankooks last year and must admit that the tire is really good on gravel but the tarmac was completely different story. Maybe that's the reason that they tested on tarmac first.
Drivers hope for better rubber from them in 2025...
