Arteta on Aubameyang extension: I am positive

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is positive about a contract extension with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and in this connection is sure that it will not be long before the 31-year-old striker signs a new agreement with the London club. According to Tipsbladet, Arteta has commented on the dialogue he had with Aubameyang:

I am positive. We've had some good talks with him and his agent, and I'm pretty sure we'll agree soon. That's my feeling.

Arsenal will be in action on Saturday when they meet Liverpool at Wembley in the Community Shield.
