ESPN scrambling for programming amid coronavirus sports shutdown
On what could be called Black Thursday for significant games classes, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League suspended play, following the National Basketball Association's lead on Wednesday.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association followed by dropping March Madness, the yearly people's ball competitions that crown national bosses, and all other winter and spring titles including the Frozen Four and the College World Series.
The PGA Tour dropped the Players Championship after the first round and every consequent competition until the Masters, which has additionally been delayed. Significant League Soccer declared it is suspending play for 30 days.
