#EPL-ScoreChallenge #16 - Gameweek 9

This week I will be reviewing the Leeds United v Arsenal, the game will be played on Sunday 22nd November at 16:30BST @ Elland Road.

Winless against the Gunners in 7 attempts

Leeds United have made an inconsistent return to England’s top flight and are sitting in 15th position on the table heading into this weekend's fixtures. Arsenal are in similar boat as they are only 2 points ahead of this weekend's host, sitting on 12th position. The West Yorkshire club have struggled with the absent of Kalvin Phillips in central midfield but could feature in this weekends game, that would be a major boost for the Whites.

Leeds United and Arsenal are looking to bounce back to winning ways, as they both suffered heavy defeats before going into the international break. Leeds were thumped by Crystal Palace, 4 goals to 1 in a VERY VERY controversial game. Arsenal are still struggling for consistence at home as they were outclassed by the high flying Aston Villa.

Leeds are winless in the last 7 games against Arsenal in all competition (D1 L6), last time they managed to beat the London club was back in 2003 (3-2 @ Highbury). Coming to this weekends game, Leeds conceded the most goals then any other Premier League side. So I am expecting goals GOAALS.

Last time Leeds United played Arsenal was in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, earlier this yeas. Arsenal just manage to win the game, although Leeds dominated the first half but couldn't find the back of the net. Patrick Bamford was the closest to scoring as he hit the bar with one of United's 15 first-half efforts. Arsenal were excellent in the second half and Reiss Nelson scrambled home to secure a win.
