The passing of a Football Legend

A really sad day for football lovers around the world, football genius Diego Armando Maradona Franco passes away from heart attack at age 60.
Maradona had recently battled health problems and underwent successful surgery earlier this month for a blood clot on his brain He latter on suffered a heart attack in his home, Buenos Aires.
He lead Argentina to victory at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico and also won the Golden Ball - best player of the tournament.
It was the same tournament that featured his infamous 'Hand of God' goal against England in the quarter-finals.
In his professional playing career, Maradona scored 259 goals in club level. But his legendary status came when he was played for the Italian side Napoli, 1984–1991 - scoring 81 goals in 188 matches. He played in the number 10 role as "playmaker". His unbelievable ability to dribble the ball past defends and the vision of passing made he the player he was.
After retirement he has been regarded as a legendary player of the modern football era. But his troubles with drugs and the law tarnished his status in recent times; but for football lovers he was the genius in the middle of the park.
In honor of his passing Napoli stadium ‘San Paolo’ will be re-named to Diego Armando Maradona.
