Things change based on the circumstances. Even if the attacker has some logic, you can talk to him, calm him down, and try to solve the problem in a nice way. You can solve many things before getting into a fight. But when you are dealing with a crazy guy, that is a different situation.

Welcome back to Self Defense Situation - Part 78. In this series of posts, we usually talk about different situations and what you can do to defend yourself and get back home safe.

If you see the guy is very aggressive and crazy, talking to him might not work. Let's watch this video first. Here it is assumed that someone is waiting for the bus at a bus stop. This is not my video and all video credit goes to Nick Drossos.

When you see someone behaves in an abnormal way, he will not judge something logically. Talking to him is not going to change the situation. If you feel that he can attack you, it is better to make the distance. Do not get close to him.

Try not to do anything that instigates him to do something against you. If you think that keeping your hands up might invite him to fight with you, just do not keep your hands up. But you have to be ready mentally to face any strike in case the guy attacks you.

If you can get out of there, you can do that first. In case the guy attacks you, counter-attack and move from there as soon as you can. Do not get involved in a fight. His behavior shows that he is mentally defective. You should not give any opportunity to attack you. You have to be proactive and make your move before it gets too late.

So how would you deal with a situation like this? Please feel free to express your thoughts in the comment section. Thank you so much for reading this post and watching the video.
