You are driving your car. Something happens and it is just an accident. Or someone attacks you when you are inside the car. So what can you do to defend yourself in this situation?

Welcome back to Self Defense Situation - Part 80. In this series of posts, we usually talk about different situations and what you can do to defend yourself and get back home safe.

When you are in the car, someone is coming towards you, you can get out of the car quickly and face the attacker. If you decide to stay in the car, you can move little to the other seat so that the attacker cannot reach you.

In case someone is coming towards your car with a bat as you watched in the video, he intends to hit you. If you stay in the car, he is going to hit your car before he is going to strike you. If you get out of the car, you have to do it fast before the attacker is getting close to you and defend yourself against a bat or stick attack.

When the attacker is close to your car and you have not got out of the car, you should not get out of the car the way the attacker is standing. As soon as you do that, he is going to strike you and you will be in an awkward position for self defense.

You can get out of the car in the opposite direction. Now the attacker cannot attack you instantly because there is the car between you and the attacker. You can talk to the attacker, calm him down and solve the problem. In case he attacks you, you have to be ready to defend yourself.
